Statement of Goals

Can be anyone be perfect? Even the best writers ever cannot be excellent in their writing. The main goal in my opinion is that the writer must try to convince the reader as much as he can through their emotions, as through their minds and work. I will try to explain myself in writing even though is difficult.
The first thing I have to do before writing is to read carefully the title and try to organize the topic before writing. My vocabulary cannot be perfect, needs a lot of work, as well as my syntax. I start writing an introductory paragraph, then I continue with the paragraphs for the Main Body, trying to use one paragraph for each separate sub-topic, and I close my essay with a good conclusion. In my opinion I know how to analyze the main subject step by step and write things that comes from our daily life depending of course from the subject.
As far as I know, I have to work with my problem which is repeating the same phrases. This can help me by revising, to change any phrases I have written more than once and checking especially for errors in grammar and spelling. Moreover linking words and phrases for time, place, addition, contrast, comparison and result are absolutely necessary to enrich my writing.
Also, when I’ m planning to do an assignment or essay I must do a research first, to see what is difficult for me and what needs improvement. Equally important is the way I write what I really want to make the reader follow me, convince him to the things I talk about, be interest and excite and not be bored.
To conclude what I really want to achieve from this course is to be a better writer in my future employment after I finish the university and also for my personal life as well. Taking advises from other people can help me improve my expository writing skills. In order to get better and better in my essays is to try not to repeat the same mistakes I have made before in the past. Now from this course I will have to work hard using wisely the teacher’s instructions and the material given to me so eventually I will become a better writer.
