statement of goals

Making an essay requires a format that is structured by writing down my thoughts clearly and present them as good as i can by making sure that i research my subject, havent got any grammatical mistakes, i use correct syntax and vocabulary, i brainstorm, i ask questions, i revise my essay at the end and correct my mistakes. The body of my esssay needs to have my ideas clearly stated and my conclusion needs to be based on my introduction in order to achieve a good essay format.
In my opinion as a writer i do well in researching my subject, organizing details and start writing them down as bullet points in order to have all my thoughts written down so i can start building my arguement. I plan my assignments well before starting to write them down because if i dont plan them i feel that my writing is flat and then the reader wont be able to identify with me and see things from my perspective. I try to collect a big variety of information from different reliable sources so I will be able to make my point clear with more examples.
But as a writer i have problems in referencing my sources well and i hope to improve my referencing system in this semester as well as to learn to revise my essays more than once before handing them in because revision makes perfection. Revison helps the writer see if the point he wanted to set out is clear or not and by reading it over and over again and correcting the mistakes, the essay becomes automatically better. I need to learn how to be more convincing in my essays, to achieve that i need to learn the right vocabulary that will help me and need to take in mind the age of the reader that will be reading my essay and try and make my essay more easy, fun and interesting for them, because after all we are writing for the reader.
I intend to work with the course material so I can learn to be more creative in my writings, learn to site my sources, revize my essays more than once and learn how to critisize correctly my own essays
