Statement of Goals

Writing an essay is not as easy as it sounds. It needs rich vocabulary, good organization, ideas, research and be careful with the word order and grammar. It also needs revision which is the most important think to do for an essay, to view your mistakes and make it better.

Me as a a writer, i can say that one of my best points is that i use many often methods that makes the essay more interesting for example asking questions or maybe use a story at the beginning. I also believe, that i can explain myself simple but i need improvement on it. Most of the times i write an essay i like to take a phrase from a book i' ve read and i liked it rather that come up with an original one. I like to plan my assignments, and i think i can do it well when i have time and especially when i'm interested on the topic. My research for an essay comes mostly from the internet while i use diferent sites to get many ideas. A thing that i 'm not good at it's the reference because i need to work on it however i believe i 'm good at revising my essays and most of the times i change many things and i see mistakes that i didnt realise before.

A disadvantage i have is basically with the vocabulary and that i use the same word a couple of times. I feel though that that my writing is creative and i can put many ideas on it and beautiful phrases but again when the topic interests me. I believe that sometimes my essays could be unconvinsing when i don't have the right material to work on and examples to write.

I think that all of us want to get better and personally some things that i would like to achieve from the course are learn how to write better essays with creation and imagination,learn how to do the references, advance my vocabulary, and all the things that i'm not good on. I will know that i have got better at explaining myself because i will write with more confidence. To improve my writing skills i will work hard, and i will try not to do the same mistakes that i was doing until now.
